What is so cool about Moto X, the recent release from the Motorola Family?


The Motorola flagship Smartphone was launched in August 2013 under Google.

After the success of Moto G Motorola finally launched its successor Moto X in India.With a price tag 0f INR 23,999 and the wooden back for INR 24,999.


My Take on Moto X….

So finally after using it for more than a month I can write my review about it.
As I bought it from Flipkart it costed me INR 23,999.


Blue being my favourite colour caught my attention, so chose it instantly!

Flipkart was very fast in delivering the order in time as promised.

Specifications:-

(I) Hardware -

·       It consists of a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual core processing chip, clocked at 2.7Ghz.There is Adreno 320 GPU graphics chip which is quad-core for handling heavy graphics games with ease.

·  Moto X also consists of a natural language processor and a contextual computing processor which combined are called the X8 Mobile Computing System.

  · Its purpose is to recognize voice commands and notifications i.e. active notifications and “touch less controls” services with ease and not draining the battery.

·       
To manage all these it comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB in-built storage and 50 GB available in Google Drive.

·       
It supports a rear 10 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel front camera which carries “Clear Pixel Technology” tag as suggested by MOTOROLA.

  (II) Screen-
It also features a 4.7 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720pixels and density of 316ppi.The safety feature includes Cornering Gorilla Glass.

  (III)Connectivity-
It consists of single –SIM phone with 3G but no LTE unlike other versions of Moto x that are available in other countries. Other connectivity includes built-in WIFI 802.11a/g/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, EDGE, and GPRS.







(IV) OS- It comes with preloaded KitKat 4.4.2 with pure Google Android Experience.


Conclusion:
After using Moto X for more than a month I can probably say it’s the best mid-range Smartphone available in the market with stable battery life, pure android stock experience, and great camera and other out of the box features that are extremely attractive to the today’s youth.

Moto E     a.k.a    Motorola XT-1022…… Just months after the release of the beast phone Motorola  X, Motorola announced the release of its small budget smartphone called Moto E. I was a bit taken back by their decision of launching such a small budget smartphone after the successful but when checked its specs and reviews on the internet, I must say it’s going to create a boom in the smartphone sector in India.
